Hi, I'm Melissa

I provide a comprehensive, individualized approach to healing and growth. Clients can expect an in-depth program that addresses multiple life domains—including relationships, work, self-talk, sleep, exercise, and more—because true well-being is about the whole person. Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma processing, I help clients develop meaningful coping skills, navigate difficult emotions, and set achievable goals that support long-term change.
Before private practice, I worked as a 24-hour on-call crisis clinician, meeting clients in emergency rooms, homes, and community settings to provide immediate stabilization for suicidal ideation and attempts. I have completed Living Works training and Washington State-approved suicide prevention training, equipping me with specialized expertise in crisis intervention and suicide prevention.
Additionally, I have been successfully working with children for years, helping them process emotions, build resilience, and develop essential coping strategies. My experience allows me to adapt interventions to fit each client's unique needs, whether they are children, adolescents, or adults.
I deeply believe in the resilience of the human spirit and the power of self-discovery. With humor, warmth, and honest reflection, I help clients access their own wise inner voice, challenge limiting beliefs, and build a life that aligns with their values. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships. or life transitions, I offer a supportive and structured space for healing and transformation.
I look froward to hearing from you,
Melissa, MSW LICSWA, Founder, Summit Therapy, Pllc.
